Killing Floor 2 — Black Forest

Platform: PC |Engine: Unreal |Release Date: April 21, 2015

Software Used: Modo, 3DS Max, Photoshop, Quixel Suite, Unreal 3.5

These are environment props I created for the Killing Floor 2 level Black Forest. The abandoned train car and the tracks it sits on were modeled/textured to look as old and weathered as possible. The metal is rusted, the paint is chipping away, and it is falling apart, all indicators that this train has been sitting in the forest for a long time. The train was built to be fully destructible. Players can shoot through the wood panels to slowly break them up, or use explosive weapons to blow it apart much faster.

The next image shows a gear room that I put together located inside a large wood house with a water-wheel. I set the gears up so they could be animated to turn the waterwheel outside the house, which I also made.
